Many of my photos end-up making it to my easel and becoming beautiful oil paintings. Whenever I am shooting I am keenly aware of the land and how it interacts with my subject or itself. My ART PHOTOGRAPHY
and PORTRAITS
are approached in a similar manner: capturing my subjects from an unusual angle with a fresh artistic light are what gives them their unique composition and bold colors. There is seldom a day that I don't have a camera of some kind by my side to record the adventures of the day. Combing my two passions is something that is very seamless. While creating I thoroughly enjoy re-living a day through past photographs as I transpose them both realistically and artistically through handmade oils. Many of my works are done on board, both new and reclaimed, as it is just one step closer to nature. You will feeling the air and the life in each of my works of art
